To acquire an item, enter its name as a player name. Unless noted otherwise, items are found in the cemetery.

Sword - SWORD
Plate Armor - ARMOR
Dark Sword - HYDLIDE
Dark Sword (and Fairy Plate armor in Vampire Mansion) - FAIRY PLATE

Playing Tip Granted by Bern
When you buy or find a detect scroll, enter a new cave. Save the game and use the scroll, then carefully write down or memorize the treasure locations. Now reload your game and you can reuse the scroll the next time you enter a new location.
